Delete your account

You can permanently delete your LectraScan AI account and all data it owns at any time. Deletion removes your sign-in credentials, profile, and every organization you own — including all classes, students, scanned documents, OCR text, AI clarity rewrites, translations, and export files. Deletion cannot be undone.
Option 1 — In the mobile app
- Open LectraScan and sign in.
- Go to Settings → Privacy → Delete my account.
- Confirm the deletion. You are signed out and the account is removed.
Option 2 — On the web
- Sign in at lectrascan.cienrios.com/account.
- Scroll to Delete account, type the confirmation phrase, and confirm.
Option 3 — By email
If you can no longer sign in, email privacy@cienrios.com from the address on the account and request deletion. We verify ownership of the email address and complete the deletion within 30 days.
What is deleted, and what is kept
- Deleted: your authentication record, profile, owned organizations, classes, students, scanned pages, OCR/AI text, corrections, exports, and subscription entitlement rows held in our systems.
- Kept: a minimal audit-log entry recording that a deletion was requested (timestamp, action name, IDs — no document content), retained for compliance as described in our Privacy Policy.
- Subscriptions: deleting the account does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription — manage those in your Apple subscriptions or Google Play subscriptions. Web (Stripe) subscriptions can be cancelled from the billing portal on your account page before deleting.
Prefer to keep the account but remove data?
You can delete individual documents inside the app, or use Settings → Export my data to download everything first.
