On the iPhone or Android app the lecturer photographs the page. The image is compressed locally to a 2200px long edge, queued offline when there's no signal, and uploaded over a private signed URL the moment Wi-Fi is back.

Per-word confidence underlines point you at the words the OCR was least sure of. They are a guide to where to look, not a measure of correctness — we publish no accuracy figure because we have not measured one.
Translate with the original in view
Native-language and English side by side. The clarity step is instructed to keep the student's own wording; it can still get it wrong, so the original stays on screen for you to check.

PDF, DOCX, or TXT bundles with optional student-name redaction for sharing or archiving. Redaction removes roster names from the text; a name that is not on the roster can remain. Every export carries the AI-review notice.
